Founded in 2005 in a basement, Openmind’s origins were humble, nestled between a hot water tank and an oil tank.

We’d have loved to tell the story that Openmind was created in a garage like Microsoft or Apple, but we couldn’t afford a garage in 2005.

From those humble beginnings with just one employee, we have now grown into a thriving team of 60+ dedicated individuals, all working towards a common goal: Shaping the IT future of tomorrow’s businesses.

2005

Founded in 2005 in a basement, Openmind’s origins were humble, nestled between a hot water tank and an oil tank.

2007

Openmind moved into the offices of the family business Transport Léveillé in Saint-Jérôme and hired its first intern, who later became the organization’s first official employee.

2011

Jonathan’s financial management coaching program at the university marked the inception of a rapid transformation of the company within just three months. A new era is beginning.

2012

A pivotal year with the first “Gazelles” coaching session and the purchase of the building we are still in today, with the aim of increasing the company’s sales and total number of employees by 5 in 5 years.

2013-14

Unveiling of X5 in 5 years plan with vision, value, mission, with a workforce of 10 employees.

2017

GROWTH500 Award for the first year with job creator award.

2018

GROWTH500, Great place to work, official launch of the Openlab.

2019

X5 achieved in 5 years… in 64 months instead of 60 months, GROWTH 500, Great Place to work, Bonboss

Late 2019

Implementation of the Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) methodology

2020

GROWTH500 continuation & Great Place To Work and Microsoft partnership

Implementation and unveiling of VIVID vision. Microsoft Gold Certification.
